PM Book Store

You may, or may not, have noticed that I have setup a book store on Amazon.com. This is intended for all product managers out there that are looking for some great things to read.

Most of these books I will have read - some I haven’t, but want to read. I will try and review all those that I have read so you get some idea (either on this site or on Amazon) - feel free to send in your own reviews to me if you want me to post them here so folks get a sense of what to read first / what can wait / etc…

And of course, if you have any suggestions for books I should add to the store, let me know!

PM Desk Reference

Another product management book has been / is being released called the Product Manager’s Desk Reference - I just ordered my copy.

It’s fantastic to see all of the excellent resources being created and knowing that they are really going to help bolster the community and the amount of knowledge that’s out there about this (still) relatively new topic.

If you can, order yourself a copy! Congrats on the book, Steve!

Book: Art of Product Management

I suggest everyone go download a copy of the Art of Product Management. I’m making my way through it right now, and so far - it’s the best book I’ve read on the subject. Well done, Rich!

Book: Tuned In

I got my copy of Tuned In sent to me today from Amazon courtesy of the publishers / authors. I found out, by way of chance, that I’m acknowledged in the book. I hope that whatever it was I was acknowledge for was insightful and deep.

Because, let’s me honest, I know it was for my post comparing product management to movie directors (using Kevin Smith as the core example) and my post calling out Tony Stark as one of the best technology founders to date.

But to be honest, it’s pretty cool to see your name and URL in print. I’ve been writing on this blog for a long time and hopefully I’ll be able to rally enough folks that listen to me go on and on about things regularly to write our own book on product management.

I haven’t read Tuned In yet but it’s getting some great reviews on Amazon - so kudos to everyone that took part!
